Open Every Door

Time is a stream, yet I always find the end of December and beginning of January an energizing threshold. I look back at the last twelve months to see where I’ve been, then look ahead and try to plan where I will go even though I know my plans will change.

Stepping into 2025 is proving difficult, so I am repeating this bit of poetry:

Not knowing when the Dawn will come, I open every Door…

Emily Dickinson

There’s no telling what awaits us in 2025. Will it be bad? Will it be good? Probably some of both. But I greatly appreciate the reminder to keep opening doors no matter what.

You can find good. Just keep looking.

Happy New Year!
