More Inspiration for Felt Ornaments

In my search for interesting embroidery stitches to use on my felt ornaments, I came across Bead Embroidery Stitch Samples: Motifs by Yasuko Endo & CRK Design*. The images in the book filled me with excitement. Beaded embroidery is exactly what I imagined for my ornaments. Here were some stunning designs of flowers, as well as more abstract patterns, that would be fun to use.

These paisleys are what originally caught my eye.

So far, I’ve only made one ornament inspired by this book, but I have plans to use some of the other patterns, especially the intricate paisley ones. I’m hoping to come up with my own designs once I’ve tried a few of these.

*This book is from 2014. I got it at my local library, but I also found it in several on-line used book stores.
