December is here and the countdown to Christmas has begun. By chance, both my nephew and I got Advent calendars as presents, so we’re going to open them together each day.
My calendar is the Harry Potter Hogwarts Christmas Pop-up, which opens up to show the Great Hall, complete with Christmas tree. Day 1 was Harry’s letter from Hogwarts.
Liam got the Lego City Advent calendar. Day 1 was a little snow plow which he’s been playing with ever since. (He added some figures from The Lego Movie so someone could drive it.)
I’ve always loved Advent calendars. They help make the preparations for Christmas more fun, giving you something to look forward to each day as you get ready for the actual holiday. I can’ t wait to see what Hogwarts and Lego has in store for us.
