I saw this on another blog this morning, and just had to share it.

Just yesterday, I was looking at why I write.  I write to stay sane, to stay balanced, to find out what I’m thinking and feeling, to find solutions to today’s problems, to better understand everything. Most of my reasons for writing are personal and have nothing to do with audience (unless you think of me as my own audience).

As a result, I realize it doesn’t matter how big my audience is.

If you love the process, if making things makes you whole, then the only one who needs to witness your work is you.

One is enough.
